OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — First National Bank of Omaha has partnered with Nebraska Community Foundation to create the Rebuild the Heartland Community fund to raise funds for recovery and rebuilding efforts.
First National Bank has contributed $100,000 to establish the fund and has pledged to match up to $150,000 in additional donations to Rebuild the Heartland.
All contributions to the fund will be deployed in flood-affected areas.
The Rebuild the Heartland Community Fund encourages recovery and rebuilding efforts across Nebraska, western Iowa, and southeastern South Dakota. Funds raised will be awarded to nonprofit organizations leading recovery and rebuilding efforts in communities impacted by the floods.
